Quentin Hill’s Eagle Project

Quentin Hill became an Eagle Scout on Nov. 15. For his project he cleared brush along the path to the Osgood School’s outdoor classroom and build these three benches. The classroom was not recently in use due to lack of maintenance. Wicked Local Staff Photo/Alyssa Stone


Hill rounded out his Eagle qualifications by making improvements to the outdoor classroom at Osgood School. He added three benches and cleared the overgrown trail so that teachers could start taking advantage of the disused space again.

“When I was there, we would occasionally use that space,” Hill remembered. “The space was there, but it wasn’t being used. The project gave that area a better use.”
